Deliver More Than What You Have Promised

You must have heard about some prominent companies that have gained a good reputation in the industry but has lost all of it due to certain reasons. Well, there can be various reasons for such a sudden fall, but the most prominent one is deficiency in promise delivery. Companies, like politicians, usually make many promises in the beginning. 
However, the promise delivery starts declining as soon as the client becomes permanent. And, when this happens, the client starts preferring some other company for availing the same services that values him/ her. This is how the reputation declines in the industry. In order to avoid this, a company should never promise those things that it cannot deliver to the clients.

Promises are meant to be fulfilled, not broken. In fact, it is advisable to promise less and deliver more. Surprising your clients with extra benefits or support in certain task will help you in reaching your goals promptly. When you promise less, the client will not expect much. However, when you will deliver excellence, the client will be more than satisfied. Also you will be saved from an inflow of complaints for not fulfilling the promises.
